The Dionysus Connection is filled with mystery, action and romance. The story flows nicely drawing the reader into the action and the lives of its characters. The main characters are well developed and likable. Daniela, one of the main characters, is at times childish and cruel, but as the book progresses we see her growth.
Over all it was entertaining and a good read. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the kindle version has errors and is in need of some editing. Also, when I thought the book was over it continued to solve yet another mystery.

As an attorney I was very impressed by the author's ability to capture the moods and thoughs of the cops who are her main characters. The action flows realisticly and is believable. The gritty setting kept my attention and also educated me as it moved me along. Make a hell of a movie. Worth your money and time.
Great story by new writer. Plenty of twists. Easy to read, and hard to put down. Good one to pick up.
This was a good book. I loved it, very intense reading, mysterious, waiting for the next one from Liz Cowan.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I was caught at the first sentence. The story line was one of a different twist, one that I had never read anything like in a mystery. The characters seemed to be alive and jump from the pages. I was on the edge of my seat, reading every word, and when it came time for the solving of the mystery, it WAS NOT my guess of "whodunit". I re-read the book again, just to make sure I did not miss anything (and to enjoy it all over again). It was a thrilling journey of reading with a roller coaster of events , life-like characters, and an ending that will surprise all.
A must read!! And an author to most certainly watch for future works.
I enjoyed my escape into the lives of journalist Daniela and police detective Max. Each was investigating Club Dionysus and each suffered near fatal injuries. This intense and enthralling story brings together a connection that you will not forget.
The Dionysus Connection is a wild ride. Liz Cowan invites the reader into a world of intrigue starting with the very first page. Her clever interplay of dialogue and action keeps the reader intimately involved with the characters and storyline through to the last page.
More than your usual murder/mystery or romance novel, this book delves deeper into the human dynamics of friendship, family, and love relationships. While the setting may introduce some readers to an often hidden side of humanity, the functions of which are intensely sexual and cruel, Cowan expertly weaves those primal instincts into a story that ultimately uplifts truth, the rule of law, and inner goodness.
I eagerly await the next book from Liz Cowan.
